Thin-Coat Plastering & Masonry Mortar
This product is refined from high molecular polymers, organic additives, high-grade cement, and auxiliary agents. It features high weather resistance, excellent crack resistance, and low shrinkage. Available in four strength grades: M5, M7.5, M10, and M15.
Thin-layer masonry mortar is designed for building walls, while thin-layer plastering mortar offers superior workability and strong adhesion, providing excellent water resistance and structural strength in wet environments.
Information
-
Product Name: (Thin-layer Masonry Mortar / Thin-layer Plastering Mortar)
-
Net Weight: 40KG
Features
-
Thin-layer Masonry Mortar:Easy to use (just add water); High water retention and strong bonding; High weather resistance, crack resistance, and low shrinkage.
-
Thin-layer Plastering Mortar:High bonding strength; Thin-layer application for a smooth, aesthetic finish; Suitable for dry environments and large exposed areas.
Thin-layer Masonry Mortar:Suitable for fly ash aerated blocks, autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) blocks, lightweight bricks, and high-absorption wall materials.
Thin-layer Plastering Mortar:Suitable for AAC blocks, lightweight bricks, high-absorption wall materials, and lightweight partition walls.
Thin-layer Masonry Mortar
- Ensure the masonry block surface is firm, level, and free of cracks, release agents, or other substances that hinder bonding.
- Remove all dust, oil, and grime. Repair any chipped or damaged blocks first; if the surface is prone to dusting, treat it beforehand.
- Use a mixer: add clean water to a clean container, then add the product while mixing until a uniform, lump-free paste is formed. Let it stand for 5-10 minutes, then re-mix for 1-2 minutes before use. No additional water is needed during re-mixing. Clear away any dust or grease.
Thin-layer Plastering Mortar
- Clear debris from the base surface; the surface should be clean, firm, and free of dust and grease.
- Roughen the shear wall surface. One day before application, pressure-wash the interface to remove loose dust before proceeding with thin-layer plastering.
- During application, the single-layer thickness should not exceed 10mm. When applying across different materials, reinforce the joints with alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh. Finish the surface promptly after the initial water absorption.
- 24 hours after completion, begin water curing (recommended twice daily, morning and evening, for 3 days).
Complies with GB/T 25181-2019 “Ready-mixed Mortar” standard.
