LIGHT PLASTERING MORTAR

Lightweight Plastering Mortar is a polymer-modified material specifically developed to solve common construction quality issues, such as hollowing and cracking in building and decoration projects.

Information

    • Net Weight: 50KG

Features

  • High water retention, lightweight with high strength

  • low shrinkage, strong adhesion

  • high impact resistance, excellent durability

  • low consumption per unit area, and wide application range.

Category:
  • Remove dust, dirt, and loose layers from the substrate. Roughen the shear wall interface; no treatment needed for AAC substrates. Reinforce joints of different materials.
  • Mixing: Use a powder-to-water ratio of 1:0.34 – 0.37. Add water first, then mortar, and mix for 3 minutes until smooth and lump-free.
  • Layered Application: Press the first layer firmly against the substrate (thickness ≤10mm). Apply the second layer after 24 hours. Use a straightedge to level once at full thickness. If total thickness exceeds 30mm, reinforce with alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh.
  • Details: Press mortar firmly on both sides of guide strips to avoid voids. Clean skirting areas thoroughly. Finish the surface slowly to prevent hollowing caused by the leveling tool.
  • Curing: Natural curing only; no water spraying required.

This product complies with the technical requirements of GB/T 25181-2019 Ready-mixed Mortar.

NOTE

  • Temperature: 5°C – 35°C; weather affects drying time.
  • Pot Life: Use within 2 hours (at 25°C); do not remix with water once hardened.
  • Joints: Avoid overly thin joints to ensure mortar strength.
  • Storage: Seal opened bags; store in a cool, dry place.
  • Mixing: Mix with water ONLY; no other additives.
  • Shelf Life: 12 months.

It is a polymer-modified material developed to solve common construction quality issues such as hollowing and cracking in building and decoration projects.

It is suitable for shear wall interfaces, which need roughening beforehand, and AAC (autoclaved aerated concrete) substrates, which need no pre-treatment. Joints between different materials should be reinforced before plastering.

Use a powder-to-water ratio of approximately 1:0.34–0.37. Add water first, then the mortar powder, and mix for about 3 minutes until the mix is smooth and lump-free.

Press the first layer firmly against the substrate at ≤10mm thickness, then apply the second layer after 24 hours and level with a straightedge. If the total thickness exceeds 30mm, reinforce with alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh. Press mortar firmly on both sides of guide strips to avoid voids, clean skirting areas thoroughly, and finish slowly to prevent hollowing.

The pot life is about 2 hours at 25°C. Once the mortar has started to harden, do not remix it with additional water.

No. It only needs natural curing — no water spraying is required.

Apply between 5°C and 35°C. Weather conditions outside this range will affect drying time and final performance.

Each bag has a net weight of 50KG. Shelf life is 12 months. Once opened, seal the bag and store it in a cool, dry place, and mix only with water — no other additives.

It offers high water retention, is lightweight yet high in strength, has low shrinkage with strong adhesion, provides high impact resistance and durability, and has low consumption per unit area with a wide range of applications.

This product complies with the technical requirements of GB/T 25181-2019, the national standard for Ready-mixed Mortar.
